Introduction
Encourage students to become problem-solvers with a creative app that addresses real-world community issues. In this lesson, students will brainstorm local problems, design a storyboard, and code their app using Elementari. This activity combines app design basics with social impact, showing students how technology can foster positive change.
Objectives
Students will:
- Research and Identify a community issue and brainstorm ways an app can address it.
- Design a storyboard outlining the structure and flow of the app.
- Create an interactive app using Elementari to bring the app idea to life.
- Test and Share the app with peers for feedback.
Code Stories and Games with Elementari
Students will use Elementari’s platform to design an app that tackles a community issue they care about. They’ll create a home page, informational screens, and resource links while learning to code navigation and interactive features. Elementari’s visual coding blocks make app design accessible and engaging, allowing students to address social change through technology.
