Introduction
Welcome back! In this project, you'll make a two-page interactive story to show something new about yourself and a goal you have for the school year. You'll use pictures, voice, and or animation to help others understand who you are and what you're excited about.
Objectives
Students will:
- Create a two-page interactive story using Elementari
- Share something new they want to share using text, images, and voice
- Set a goal for this year and include one thing that will help them
- Record voiceovers for each page and code them to play in order
Coding Concepts Covered
Functions in Sequence Voice RecordingStudent Instructions
🎨 Visual Plan: Choose your favorite color, images, and background that feels like YOU!
🎨 Visual Plan: What background shows your memory or new interest? What 2–3 images will you add?
🎨 Visual Plan: What picture shows your goal? Will you use a symbol, tool, or background to help?
🎨 Visual Plan: Will you use a calm-down tool, friend image, or sparkle to show your helper?
You will record your voice reading your welcome message and your new thing. Then, you will code it so both sounds play one after the other in a sequence.
💡 Tip: Make sure both recordings are in the right order!
You will record your voice saying your goal and your helper plan. Then you will code them to play one after the other.
You will check your pages and add anything fun to make it complete!
💡 Tip: Ask a friend to try your story too!
